Supervision

Hi, I’m Cat! (any pronouns) I am one of the founders of Kaleidoscope and I have been working with LGBTQ+ individuals since I started working as a counsellor in 2013. I have completed an Advanced Specialist Diploma in GSRD (Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity) Therapy and am also an Associate Lecturer and Clinical Associate with Pink Therapy.

I completed my Supervision Qualification with Counselling Tutor – this particular training appealed to me as there was a clear focus on supervising online and phone work as well as in-person practice.

My own counselling practice is person-centred, integrative with a focus on anti-oppressive work which naturally informs my work as a supervisor. I have experience of working with children and young people from the age of 12, as well as experience of working with adults.

In supervision, I offer a warm, friendly, supportive safe for you to reflect on your own practice, navigate processes and concerns, and to feel open to new learning and appropriate challenges.

For newly qualified counsellors and trainees who may be beginning to find their feet in their own practice, I offer a nurturing and safe space away from the expectations of tutors or placement providers for you to freely explore your own work and experiences in this field.

Supervision can be offered either fortnightly or monthly depending on your own preferences and requirements. I also am happy to meet for one-off sessions if you need support with a particular concern.

Supervision fees are £60 per hour, or £90 for a one and half hour session.

Limited student spaces are available at £40 per hour or £60 for the hour and a half. Please get in touch if you would like to request one of these places.
